"Home First" is a series of innovative approaches and initiatives to support seniors to live in their own homes and continue to be part of their communities. To support you and your family, the Government of New Brunswick would like to help identify available services in your community and discuss ways for you to maintain a healthy, active and independent lifestyle.
Eligible seniors also have the opportunity to be provided with financial assistance (up to $1500) for minor in-home repairs that will improve the safety of the home.

Directors' Forum Seminar

This forum will be informal, a great chance to network with other condo board members. Please plan to come and share your condo living experiences with others from our Condominium Community.

CM 100 Fundmental Management Principles

$80 for CCI members, $160 for non-member; memberships available at the seminar

CM 100 is the introductory level of study for condominium management. It reviews the governance of condos, legal issues, management styles, financial and administrative issues, insurance, reserve fund studies, reserve funds, and condo meetings. This course is recommended for condo board members and industry professionals. Anyone interested in learning more about condominiums is welcome to attend.

Condominium Concepts: What is a condominium; Declaration & By-Law; Corporation’s duties

Governing Authority: Hierarchy of governing documents; Board of Directors

Legal Issues: Standard of Conduct & Ethics; Dispute Resolution & Liens

Reserve Fund: What is a Reserve Fund; Reserve Fund Studies and updates

Administration: Policies & procedures; recordkeeping; budget, funds, estoppel certificates
